The detail

What Is AdBlue, And A Delete?

AdBlue is a urea based fluid that many modern diesels inject into the exhaust to break down harmful nitrogen oxides. It is stored in its own tank and managed by the SCR system. When that system, a sensor or a pump develops a fault, the car flags an AdBlue warning and starts a mileage countdown that, left alone, ends with the engine refusing to start at all.

An AdBlue delete is a software solution that disables the system and clears the associated warnings, so there is no more countdown, no more limp mode and no more topping up. We are Mercedes and Sprinter specialists and also work on all other AdBlue diesels, cars and vans. It is supplied for vehicles used off road only.

The AdBlue trap

How The Countdown
Catches You Out.

The warning appears

A dashboard message says your AdBlue system has a fault or is low, and a mileage countdown begins.

The countdown drops

The miles tick down with every drive. Refilling does not always clear it once the system has flagged a fault.

Limp mode kicks in

Power is cut right back to protect the system and the car becomes a chore to drive.

It will not restart

Once the countdown hits zero the engine will not start again until the fault is dealt with. That is the moment most people call us.

A permanent solution

Stop Refilling,
Stop Worrying.

Rather than chasing expensive AdBlue repairs, we electronically disable the system in software and clear the associated dashboard lights and warning messages. No more countdown, no more limp mode, no more topping up.

Questions

AdBlue Delete FAQs.

My car won't start because of AdBlue, can you help?
Yes. Once the AdBlue countdown reaches zero the engine will not start. We resolve the fault and disable the system so it will not happen again.
Is this just for Mercedes?
No. We are Mercedes and Sprinter specialists but we work on all AdBlue diesels, cars and vans.
Is it permanent?
Yes, it is a permanent software solution, not a temporary reset.
Is this legal for the road?
Our AdBlue delete is supplied for off road use only. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure the vehicle is used legally.
Will it clear the dashboard warnings?
Yes, the associated AdBlue lights and warning messages are removed as part of the work.
Why will a top up not fix it?
Because a genuine system fault is not the same as a low tank. The AdBlue or SCR system injects fluid into the exhaust to turn NOx into harmless nitrogen and water. When a sensor, pump or heater fault is logged, the ECU enforces a software countdown that ends in a no start lockout, and a top up will not clear that. It needs proper diagnosis and either a targeted repair or, on off road vehicles, a delete.
What usually fails on these systems?
Across the trade the AdBlue pump is the most common failure, followed by the NOx sensor, then the heater in cold weather. Replacing parts blindly without diagnosing the real cause is how owners end up paying twice.
